I worked tech support for AOL a while back, and from dealing with many members over the phone, I have this to say...

AOL is only good if you have children. plain and simple...the parental controls work unless your kids know more about computers than you do,and even then you are better off monitoring your kids activities as a parent shouldbe doing anyway. AOL is geared toward kids and people that don't know how to use the internet, so they need to rely on AOL's "exclusive" content. Sure...it may be the only place you can see 50cent rap alone in the studio after giving an AOL plug, but who really needs to see that?

Do yourselves a favor...learn to use the internet and get a REAL isp. Leave AOL for the technologically impaired population.
