I previously had dsl, from Earthlink and then my job had me to relocate. I had to get a decent connection as broadband was not in my area. I went with Earthlink, Yahoo!, MSN, even NetZero, then I found IntelliPlans.
I must say, for the price and service I got, I was amazed.
With NetZero, I could not get speeds faster than 28k. With Yahoo and MSN, I got connections up to 33k with 28k at peak usage times. Never got more than 28k w/earthlink. NetZero connection drops frequently which was very annoying.
With IntelliPlans, my speeds ranged from 48K to 53K. Their customer service goes beyond the call of duty.
I can now download pages very close to the broadband service, but not quite as fast, but hey, for $9.95/month, who's complaining? :)
